How long does loose leaf tea stay fresh?

In an airtight container, 6-8 months. It should be kept at room temperature away from light and moisture. Avoid refrigerating or freezing loose leaf tea.

 

Do you have brewing instructions for this tea?

Use 1.5 teaspoons of loose tea for an 8-12 oz cup. Heat water to temperatures indicated below. Most tea, especially green and oolong, can be steeped more than once.

White: 180 °F steep 3-4 minutes

green 150-160 °F  steep 3-4 minutes

Oolong 190-200 °F  steep 3-4 minutes

Black 212 °F  steep 5-6 mintues

Herbal/Rooibos 212 °F  steep 5-7 minutes.

 

Do you serve brewed tea at your shop?

Yes! We serve tea by the cup or pot, hot or iced. We have a cozy upstairs parlor for you to use or a sunny outdoor patio for when the weather is nice. We can comfortably accommodate 6 people upstairs and the seating is first-come first-served.

 

Where do you ship?

We ship only to the Continental United States.
